Jonathan Paul Carlson – Award-Winning Filmmaker & Journalist
Epic Media was founded by Jonathan Carlson, a distinguished filmmaker and journalist with over 40 years of experience. His work spans natural sciences, agriculture, history, politics, and social justice, making him a leading voice in investigative media and documentary filmmaking.
Carlson spent two decades at CBS affiliate WCCO Television as Manager, Producer, Writer, and Project Coordinator, where he played a pivotal role in media innovation and investigative storytelling.
He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Harvard University and an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota.
His leadership and creative vision drive Epic’s mission to produce impactful, high-caliber media content that informs, educates, and inspires audiences worldwide.
